The Movement Theory

Rich Allington-Founder of The Movement Theory

In 2015 I graduated from Siena Heights University with a Bachelors of Science in
Biology with a focus of Pre-Physical Therapy. During my stay there I spent time in
different Physical Therapy clinics, participating in educational weekends, and
playing college football. After college I found that although I was in good physical
condition I was continuing to battle with lingering injuries. This led my training
down a path of alternative methods attempting to find one that gave me relief.
Through trial and error I have practiced many methods, I have found unique ways
to train the body while improving strength, flexibility, endurance and relief in joint
pain. I aim to provide people with training sessions so when they perform activities
outside of the gym they can do so with more confidence. While educating clients
on how movement patterns and lifestyle choices can negatively or positively
influence their external and internal environment. I have been working with
athletes and the adult population since 2015.
